LBS students have been working with the Boomwhackers this week. Boomwhackers are percussion instruments -pitched coloured tubes tuned to a musical pitch by length.
Grade 5/6 were tasked with figuring out how to play Twinkle Twinkle Little Star in small groups by working together and listening to the intervals between the notes. They found it more challenging than they thought it would be.
Grade 3/4 have been working on listening and knowing when it is their turn to play. They have also been following Boomwhacker scores of various songs.
Grade 1/2 have been working on playing with good tone, and following teacher directions so they know when it is there time to play.
