Kindergarten to Grade 6 have been working with Boomwhackers.
Boomwhackers are coloured tuned tubes that each play a specific note.
When we are playing Boomwhackers we are :
-working on rhythm and timing in Music
-learning Boomwhacker technique
-identifying differences in pitch
-following a conductor’s directions
-practicing playing melodies
-performing as an ensemble
-cooperating and building team skills
-strengthening relationships
-listening to each other
-having fun!
